Commonwealth Handball Association (CHA)
The Commonwealth Handball Association (CHA) is a dedicated organization focused on governing, promoting, and developing handball across the Commonwealth nations. It works to nurture talent and elevate the sport from grassroots initiatives to elite competitions by organizing tournaments, training sessions, and certification programs for coaches and referees. The CHA establishes standardized rules to ensure fair play and international competitiveness, while actively engaging member federations to strengthen the sport’s profile globally.
The Commonwealth Handball Association is led by the Secretary General Gen. Ishola Williams Made a case at the General Assembly (the Sports Committee of the CGF) headed by Mr. Bruce Robertson and Director of Sports Anne and with other high powered delegations from Nigeria Olympic Committee Engr. Habu Gumel supported by the former Minister of Sports and the African Rep on the of the Commonwealth Sports Committee Alh. Musa Ndanusa on the 4th of September Made history as a new door is open to handball to be included in the Commonwealth Youth Games in T & T and Commonwealth Games in Birmingham.
