Handball Maldives
Handball Maldives was established in December 2007 and is officially registered with the Ministry of Home Affairs. The Association's mission extends beyond promoting and popularizing handball as a sport; it also aims to foster an environment of discipline, sportsmanship, dedication, and a healthier lifestyle across all age groups, as handball is a socially accessible and engaging sport.
Despite facing various challenges, we have successfully advanced our goals and continue to strengthen the values associated with the sport we hold dear. Today, our focus is on developing exceptional athletes through numerous local and international tournaments, catering to both senior and junior levels, and enhancing the reputation of the Maldives through this dynamic sport.

Innaugral of National Beach Handball
Handball Maldives has successfully inaugurated a comprehensive National Beach Handball program, laying the foundation for dedicated athlete development and grassroots participation across the archipelago. With regular, high-intensity training sessions now held in the pristine sands of Kulhudhuffushi City, our teams have honed their skills and fostered a strong competitive spirit. Building on this momentum, Handball Maldives is proud to announce its participation in the 10th Asian Beach Handball Championship in Muscat, Oman, where our athletes will showcase their talent on the continental stage.
